Hello and welcome to our site. We hope you enjoy viewing our images as much as we enjoy taking and sharing them. Please sign our guestbook so we will know you stopped by and feel free to leave a comment on any photo(s).

We are Craig & Tammy Temple from Hendersonville, TN. We do not have any children. We used to have two furry babies, Missy & Samantha, but it is with great sadness that we must report that they are no longer with us. We lost both of our babies to cancer. Missy had pancreatic cancer and Samantha had cancer of the spleen. Missy went home to doggie Heaven on April 5, 2008 and Samantha on September 9, 2011. We miss them both more than words can describe and currently have no plans to get any more. We will just have to see what the future holds in store for us ;-), but for now we are just going to continue to enjoy the great hobby of astrophotography.

We began our journey into the wonderful world of astrophotography in 2007 and it quickly became our favorite pastime. It began with us imaging the moon with a point-and-shoot camera held up to an eyepiece attached to a large reflector telescope on a Dobsonian mount. Wanting more, that soon changed to us imaging deep sky objects, such as nebulae and galaxies, with a DSLR attached to a small refractor on a small, but capable, German equatorial mount (GEM). Since then we have moved up to imaging with a monochrome CCD camera attached to various telescopes on a larger GEM. We think we have finally gotten to where we want to be with our equipment, but we are sure with the advances in technology, we will have to add or change something along the way ;-).

We share in this great hobby together with Craig setting up the equipment and doing the pre-processing, and Tammy running each session from the laptop and doing all the post-processing. Craig would like to help with the post-processing, but his colorblindness prevents him from doing so. We have recently expanded our imaging to include some of the Planets, the Sun, high-resolution images of the Moon, as well as narrowband images
of nebulae. We take as many clear nights and days as we can to get out and capture images of the awesome wonders around us.
